Itchy Great Blue Heron
This is a great blue heron sitting on top of a perch of a rusty dock shed. He’s itching and scratching and preening and observing his/her kingdom. The rusty pink shoulders of a great blue heron are completely normal. They are not injuries but just Mother Natures and God’s great dynamic work!
